We have had lots of fun exploring space over the past few weeks during our Aistear time. We have made our very own galaxies in a jar, learned the names of all the planets through this song –

– and read the book The Way Back Home by Oliver Jeffers. We also manned missions to the various planets, created a lander to help some (marshmallow) aliens land safely on Earth, and played a game, or two, of space bingo.
